by Joan Moos
Musical memories are held in my mind, stored in a place that is quite hard to find. Then one day a song that I hear, brings a memory in focus … so perfectly clear. It just slips out as though it were new. Just a song from the past, and I'm right back with you. A couple of notes, Just one little word revives my memory just as soon as it’s heard. I recall every word, every note from the past, for somehow my mind holds each measure fast. With the music in me I know I'll never grow old, as the notes and the words help my past to unfold.
